Dot Donahoe... Kevin's mom... has been an inspiration to Kevin and to others through her own battle with several types of cancer, including lung cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, and adrenal cancer. She has been an ardent supporter of Kevin and has helped him on all of his projects, including the four-o'clock project and the Senior Expo. Kevin teases her that she is his secretary because she's always taking phone messages for him. Kevin is indebted to her for her unconditional love, her kindness,
and her support.
